Why We Started Progressive Properties of Greenville
Brian and Heather Walsh purchased their first rental property in 2009, hoping to enjoy the benefits of real estate while continuing their full-time careers. They hired a property manager, expecting a hands-off experience.
But like many investors, Brian quickly realized that owning rental property still demanded too much of his time fielding questions from the property manager, making repair decisions, and dealing with unexpected issues. Instead of simplifying things, the property manager felt like just another expense and person to manage.
Determined to take control, Brian and Heather began managing the property themselves. Not long after, they decided to launch Progressive Properties of Greenville to do property management the right way. From day one, the goal was clear: offer full-service management that makes our owners’ lives easier, not burden them with endless tasks or push problems back onto their plates.
Fast forward fifteen-plus years, and Progressive Properties of Greenville now manages over 550 doors across Greenville County.
